It just so happens that reggae sales for the year 2010 were not all that great, the numbers say that 2009 residual album sales outsold 2010 albums in 2010, please note residual and this was also the year of our great depression. Houston we have a problem! Apparently we require better marketing for our music, or is it that our industry music needs to create a more marketable product? This may not be the case since, "The three 2010 albums that made the list included: Distant Relatives by Damian Marley and Nas, which ranked No 1 — selling some 57,000 copies in the US for its first week; Hold You by Gyptian at No 8 and The Green by The Green Band at No 9."
