The All-island Carnival series being planned as a 10 fetes in 12 weeks extravaganza, has the promise of being the largest soca event in the region. It will begin on January 29 in Kingston on the UDC(Urban Development Company) field in New Kingston. The package is being put together by Tristar Entertainment which has launched a social-media marketing campaign for the event that will be visiting St.Mary, Portland, Negril, St.Thomas, Montego Bay and more. According to a director of Tristar Entertainment "We couldn't possibly be looking to do an event in Jamaica without engaging persons via the social-media platform." "These websites, Facebook and Twitter, have massive populations and a great deal of their members fall right in our target market. So, we're going for it. Youtube, Facebook, Twitter ... everywhere."

We will wait to witness the developments of this series and how the people respond to there social-media marketing, until then this endeavor sounds promising and enthusiasm within the Tri-star camp appears to be at a high level for the future event.
